Expect to see ...

    Evening of April 13th

    • Join the boat after 1730hrs at Gunwharf Quays. We'll have some champagne open and a few hors d'ouevres. We'll serve a proper roast dinner on board for 8pm. After dinner, enjoy a port or G&T on board and we'll have a fun evening and get this holiday weekend started!

    April 14th - Good Friday

    • A famous Rubicon 3 cooked breakfast with bacon and eggs and lots of coffee will get us going, before we cast off the lines and ease Oriole out in to the Solent. With roller furling headsails she is wonderfully easy to sail and perfect for these weekends (sorry Hummingbird!). We'll get the sails up and charge around where the wind takes us. We can look at forts, play some sailing games and generally have a lovely day on the water. We'll aim to end in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, where the town will be lively and we can have a really nice evening out and about. (Dinner in restaurant not included in price).

    April 15th - Easter Saturday

    • Back out on the water, maybe starting a little later to allow the Good Friday cheer to be slept off. We'll sail our way down to Yarmouth and maybe set some navigational challenges to see who's on the ball. With land either side of us in the Solent, we can never get that lost! Once we've pulled in for the evening, we'll cook up a great dinner and crack open a bottle of wine or two.

    April 16th - Easter day

    • Easter day wouldn't be Easter day without a good walk, so we can head off to have a look at the coastal nature reserve and stretch our legs. There'll be  a roast in the oven so that when we get back we won't be far off a proper Easter lunch. It would be rude not to have a Bloody Mary or two while we wait.

    April 17th: Bank Holiday Monday

    • Maybe we'll have a healthier breakfast today as we prepare to return to normal life. Muesli, fruit and toast are not a bad way to start the day and just a little lighter after all the good food. We'll slip the lines for the last time and head east up the Solent toward Portsmouth. We'll be in by about 1600, giving you plenty of time to head home and prepare for that 6am alarm call on Tuesday and back to work!
